Irritating bug in NYT Editor's Choice iPad app

Can you see it? The line height of the last line of each paragraph is taller than the line heights of every line. Why hasn't this been fixed? This bug has been present from the day the iPad was launched. How hard can this be to fix? It's a gaping defect in an otherwise enjoyable experience.
