Nice book cover: Farm City by Novella Carpenter

I saw someone reading Farm City on the train as I rode home from my
birthday-morning americano trip to one of my favorite cafés, the
Gryphon in Wayne, where I had a great conversation with Roy. Anyway, I
grabbed this picture from Amazon and noticed that it just doesn't pop
the way the actual dust jacket does. There's something about print
that the screen just can't capture. (Color gamut and dynamic range,
anyone?)

When I was at Half.com, Mariya and I were sitting in the conference
room, as was our habit, and a co-worker walked in and noticed a book
on the table. He looked at it and said, "Ooh! The cover looks so good,
it makes you want to read it!" Mariya and I exchanged a glance — and
an eye-roll. A ridiculous concept. So shallow.

That said, this is a nice book cover.
